Get Involved

There is more than one way to lend a hand.

Choose the kind of support that feels right for you. Every contribution—time, expertise, resources or partnership—can help create new possibilities for children.

Free training for our partners

Digital skills, at no cost to schools, churches and charities.

FirstClick Digital Skills offers free digital training to every registered charity, school and church in Jamaica. Partner organisations receive complete Beginner-level access for all enrolled members, including certificates and printed materials.

The Foundation is grateful to FirstClick for making this available at no cost. It is a contribution that keeps working long after an event is over.

The courses run from first steps on a computer through to online safety, spotting scams, and workplace readiness. Lessons work on a phone or a computer, and no previous experience is needed.

Being comfortable with a computer is no longer optional. It decides who can apply for a job online, who can complete a form without having to ask for help, who can recognise a scam before losing money, and which children can keep up when schoolwork moves onto a screen.

For a school, a church or a community group, a few trained members changes what the whole organisation can do. One person who can build a form, keep a register or set up a meeting online lifts everybody around them.

If your school, church or community group works with the Foundation, or would like to, this is open to you. Enrol as many members as your organisation needs. There is no charge and no catch.

Please get your group signed up. The sooner members begin, the sooner you have people who can help everyone else.

Every contribution reaches a child.

McLymont's Helping Hands is a small Jamaican charity. Money, goods, professional time or the sponsorship of a single event all go further here than they would elsewhere. If you can help, please tell us what you have in mind.
